Abstract

This article deals with the Health Promotion Laboratory, a professional development program designed for local public health teams. Building on Nonaka’s model, the study examines organisational knowledge creation in three sites and analyzes the factors involved. The results show significant externalization and noticeable combination in the three sites. The availability of diffusion tools, the transmission of knowledge inherent to the laboratory and the adequacy of resources appear as factors influencing externalization. Participants’ learning capacity stands out as the main organizational factor facilitating combination.
